Vickie Kay Roberts

November 3, 1958 — October 16, 2024

Vickie Kay, affectionately known as "Vic," departed this world on October 16, 2024, in Texarkana, Texas. Born on November 3, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, Vickie was a radiant presence whose contagious smile and infectious laugh uplifted those around her.

Throughout her life, Vickie dedicated herself to others, embracing her role as a caregiver and bartender with unwavering compassion, kindness, and a hint of silliness. She found joy in every moment spent nurturing family and friends, all while showcasing her vibrant personality that made her the life of the party. A proud cheerleader in high school, Vickie's spirit never wavered, radiating warmth and love that drew people close.

Her family was her greatest pride, and she reveled in watching her daughters flourish into amazing adults. Her heart swelled with joy as she cheered on her grandson, Jackson Foster, along with her bonus granddaughter, Reece Patterson, as they pursued their own dreams. Vickie was known for her unwavering loyalty to her beloved Dallas Cowboys; though often frustrated with their performance, she cherished the thrill of the game and the memories created with family.

Vickie enjoyed cherished moments spent crafting and going to girls' days, where laughter and creativity flowed freely. Surrounded by her family in her final days, she left this world with a heart full of love and joy, a true testament to the beautiful life she lived.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Summer Foster and husband Wayne of Texarkana, TX; Ashley Spears and husband Jay of Texarkana, AR; and Haley Patterson of Texarkana, TX. Vickie leaves behind her dear brother, Terry Roberts of Hooks, TX, as well as her cherished grandson, Jackson Foster and bonus granddaughter, Reece Patterson. Her close friend, “Ole Man” Ronald Patterson, along with her faithful pets, Ranger Boy (grand dog) and PattyCake, will also hold her memory close.

Vickie is reunited with her beloved mother, Charlsie McNeal, also known as Nanny; her father, Ernest Morris Roberts; and her brothers, Ricky and Randy Roberts. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Ola Roberts, and Gerald Patterson her bonus son.

As we remember Vickie Kay Roberts, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, love, and treasured moments. Her legacy will continue through the lives she touched and the joy she brought to the world around her.

Memorial service will be Monday, October 21, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at First Biker Church of Texarkana, 8085 W Seventh St. Texarkana, Tx. 75501
