On Saturday, July 13, Olen “Lynn” Coleman passed away in her home surrounded by family after a lengthy battle with dementia. Lynn originally came from a small town called England, Arkansas. She eventually met her husband, Jack Coleman, who was the football coach at many schools over the years. You could always find her cheering the loudest from the stands in support of him. She was what most would consider a character; she was loud, blunt, and to the point. She would also give you the shirt off of her back in times of need. Her big personality was her biggest character trait.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Coleman; her youngest son, Chris Coleman; sister-in-law, Carolyn Coleman; sister, Jeanette Ingle; and grandson-in-law, Jack LaRock. Her living children include Belinda Thomas of Three Rivers, Texas; Richard Coleman of Simms, Texas; Jackie Wren of Texarkana, Arkansas; and Ashley Osborne of Foreman, Arkansas. Her grandchildren include Miranda Kopplin, Micah Wilbur, and Hayden Kopplin of Three Rivers, Texas; Jay Wren of Jefferson, Texas; and Jennifer LaRock of Ashdown, Arkansas, as well as Jacob and Bailey Coleman of Camden, Arkansas. Great-grandchildren include Corey Coburn, Madilynn Coburn, Jackson Coburn, and McKenzie Akins of Ashdown, Arkansas; Kyla Belle of Three Rivers, Texas; Braxton and Branson Wilbur of Three Rivers, Texas; and Ava Coleman, Jack Coleman, and Julia Coleman of Simms, Texas. She was taken care of by Amy Campney from Vermont, whom she also considered a daughter.
There will be no graveside services; burial will be done with the privacy of close family as per her wishes. She will be so deeply missed.
