Nora Victoria Laner, born on May 28, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2024, at her residence in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a cherished mother to Larry Joe Turner and Kim Hopper.
Nora dedicated 30 years of her life to her work as a Phlebotomist, providing compassionate care and touching the lives of many.
Nora will be dearly missed by her children, son Larry Joe Turner and his wife Loren Chumbley, daughter Kim Hopper, and her grandchild. She will also be fondly remembered by her special cousins, Patricia Kerns and Deborah Wagers and her husband Roy, her cousin like a sister, Carol McCullough, along with all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her brother Tom Laner, sister Katie Bailey, father Fred Laner, and mother Lori Laner.
A Celebration of Life for Nora will be held at the Pavilion at Bobby Ferguson Park in Texarkana, Arkansas, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 2:00 pm. A memorial picnic will follow the services.
Arrangements are being handled by Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services Corp.
