James Phillip Campbell, a cherished father, brother, and friend, departed this world on March 23, 2025, in Texarkana, Arkansas, at the age of 75. Born on April 11, 1949, James lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that he generously shared with those around him.

A retired painter who dedicated years to his craft at Red River, James was known not only for his skill but also for his warm personality. He had a unique ability to connect with everyone he met, engaging in conversations that would leave others feeling uplifted and appreciated. His loving spirit and quick wit made him a joy to be around, and he touched many lives with his humor and kindness.

James is survived by his beloved daughter, Kimberly Campbell, and his son, James L. Campbell Sr., both of whom carry forward his legacy of love and connection. He also leaves behind DeDe Bryant, whom he cherished as a special daughter, and his special granddaughter, Brianna Campbell, who brought him immense joy. His siblings, Susan Johnson and sister-in-law, Kaye Campbell, provided companionship through life’s journey. James had the privilege of knowing and loving several other family members and friends, each of whom he held dear.

He is joining in eternal rest with his beloved wife, Dixie Campbell, as well as his mother and father, and his big brother, Jerry Campbell. His heart will forever miss his grandson, James L "Bubba" Campbell, and his mother-in-law, Pat Cornett.
