Jackie Lee Whitecotton was born in Dekalb, TX, on November 28, 1952, to James Austin and Jo Evelyn Lewis Whitecotton. He owned Whitecotton Construction, worked as a hunting guide in Colorado, and served as a ranch foreman. Jackie was skilled in carpentry, welding, mechanics, electricity, plumbing, and painting. He was known for his quality work in Dekalb, and building things right the first time around. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting, and fishing, especially in Colorado. He was generous, always willing to help others. Jackie cherished his family and faith, leaving behind four children: Denise, Aleagha, Sharon, and Jeremy Whitecotton, along with twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by the love of his life Debbi Proctor, two bonus children, Austin and Whitney Proctor, a brother, Jimmy, sister Jeannie Steel, and many other loved ones.
