Jackie Lee Whitecotton was born in Dekalb, TX, on November 28, 1952, to James Austin and Jo Evelyn Lewis Whitecotton. He owned Whitecotton Construction, worked as a hunting guide in Colorado, and served as a ranch foreman. Jackie was skilled in carpentry, welding, mechanics, electricity, plumbing, and painting.
