Edie was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to June “Granny” and John Wayne “Papaw” Tibbit.
Edie went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, 1:07pm CST, at her home surrounded by her family, friends, and loved ones.
Left to cherish and remember Edie are her son (John Wayne Williams), her long time partner (Robert Doyle), her siblings (Brad Tibbit, Carol and Jeff Self, Connie and David Miller), and special sister (Dana Stewart Phillips). She shall also be remembered by her seven nieces and nephews, eleven great nieces and nephews, as well as the many friends that knew her during her lifetime.
A memorial service celebrating Edie’s life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 3:00pm CST, Shiloh Baptist Church US-82, Texarkana, AR 71854
