Dawn Renee Gist-Osborne

Dawn Reene (Burke) (Gist) Osborne was born on September 19, 1970, in Belton, Missouri, to Shawn Paul Burke and Mary E. (Burke) Rouse.

Dawn passed away in the early morning of December 7, 2024, at her home, 1201 Nolthenius Street, Texarkana, Texas, in the presence of her husband of 10 years, Marshall Osborne, and her youngest son, Kenneth Shawn Gist.

Dawn graduated from Liberty-Eylau High School. She worked as a visiting CNA, providing care to homebound individuals in the Texarkana area and the surrounding countryside—a job she truly loved.

Dawn was a devoted daughter, loving mother, cherished wife, and a loyal friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Shawn Paul Burke, her best friend, Debby, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Dawn is survived by her husband of 10 years, Marshall Osborne; her oldest son, Terry Ray Jr. Gist, and his wife, Grace Hall; her youngest son, Kenneth Shawn Gist; her mother, Mary E. Rouse of Brenham, Texas; her stepmother, Lise Burke, and her family in Santa Rosa, California; and many extended family members and friends.

Dawn was cremated by Tri-State Cremation Services, 4211 Jefferson Avenue, Texarkana, Arkansas.
