Darlene Denise Green-Hurst age 40, of Maud Texas passed away Wednesday January 10, 2024. ,

Darlene was born October 14,1983 in Atlanta Texas to Mary Green (Kolodziej) and Danny Green. She was a talented hairdresser, devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Darlene had an adventurous soul, she enjoyed camping and hiking with family and friends. She studied at Ashford University and Drug & Alcohol Counseling and Cosmetology at Texarkana College. She was a member of Faith Community Baptist Church. Darlene had a special friend Billy Hurst She always said he was her best friend from the beginning to the end. She was proceeded in death by her parents and one brother Roy Daniel Green. Survivors include two daughters and two sons and one son in law. Danni & Curtis Jones of Corley Texas, Samantha Hurst of Maud, Trishchten Kimbrell of Hooks Texas, Jason Baggett of Maud Texas and Bonus son Billy Joe & Cynthia Hurst of Simms Texas. Two grandchildren Mary and Joshua Hensley. Two sisters and one Brother-in-law Christy and Dale Procella, Lacy Swink and Brother Jake Swink. She had seven Nephews Dalton and Daniel Flint, Dale Procella Jr., Dalin Mills, Walker Davis, Blake Baggett, and Jonathan Baggett, her Nieces are Brooke Burgess, Rayla and Janaiya Davis, and Madison Baggett; four Aunts, three uncles and a number of Relatives and Friends.
On January 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM, a memorial service will be held at Faith Community Baptist Church in Redwater, TX, officiated by Reverend Augustine Alaniz.
