Danny Ray Young, born on May 7, 1954, in De Queen, Arkansas, peacefully completed his earthly journey on December 24, 2023, in Texarkana, Texas.
In his formative years, Danny was profoundly influenced by the love of his family. He is now reunited with those who preceded him in death: his grandmother, Pearl Cornelius, his parents Larvern Cornelius and Gene Roan, and his sisters Fredia Leathers and Mauriene Sullivan. As he bids farewell to this world, he leaves a lasting legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
Danny is survived by his brother, Jerry Young, and is warmly remembered by his uncle and aunt, Melvin and Margaret Cornelius. His memory will be a cherished presence in the lives of his son, Douglas Young, his daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Todd Clayton, and his four adoring grandchildren: Caleb Clayton, Haley Clayton, Levi Clayton, and Sawyer Young.
Although Danny Ray Young's earthly journey has concluded, his memory will endure through the echoes of laughter, love, and shared moments in the hearts of those he touched. May he find eternal peace, and may his family discover solace in the enduring memories that will be passed down through generations.
A memorial service will be held on January 6, 2024 at Liberty Church of the Nazarene in Prescott, AR at 10:30. Family and Friends are welcome.
