Carolyn Hensley

Carolyn Green Hensley went home to be with our Lord May 6 th , 2023 at her residence surrounded by family after a lengthy illness. Carolyn was born on May 27 th , 1948 in Texarkana, Texas. Carolyn was a Southern Baptist and loved Jesus. Carolyn was a 15 year employee of Walmart where she held many positions as well as an assistant manager and retired. She loved being around her family and just having fun. Carolyn was an excellent cook and was famous for her King Ranch Chicken. She could cook wood and you would ask for seconds. Carolyn was not afraid of anything, including the boys that she chased up a tree. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father and mother, Russell and Margaret Green and a brother Ronald. Carolyn is survived by her Husband Butch Hensley. 2 daughters and son in laws, Angela (Angel) Marie and Don Klein of Olympia, WA. Leeann and Derek Kastning of Flint, Tx. Multiple grandkids and great grandkids. Three sisters, Nancy Herron of Texarkana, Ar. Pamela and Lonnie Merrell of Ashdown, Ar. Rhonda and Kenny Surratt of Texarkana, Ar. Two brother’s Gary and Susan Green of Blanchard, La. Rusty and Tammy Green of Texarkana, Ar. Nieces and nephews are too many to count. The family would like to thank Hospice of Texarkana for their undying love for Carolyn. They took great care of Carolyn no matter what time of day. The family appreciates her care givers over the year. A celebration of life will commence on May 28 th , 2023 at the Fouke Community Center at 1pm.
